Unveiling the Silent Victim of the War

As the fourth year of the full-scale invasion progresses, a troubling reality emerges: the world risks becoming numb to the ongoing crisis in Ukraine. Facts and numbers, once stark reminders of the human cost, now struggle to elicit the necessary response. In this context, how can we effectively draw attention to the ravaged environment? How can we make the world truly hear the silent victim of this horrific tragedy?

At SaveDnipro NGO, we understood the urgent need for a transformative approach and collaborated with the immersive communications developer Mriya Productions. We believe that Virtual Reality provides an unparalleled opportunity to bridge this emotional chasm. By placing the viewer directly within the experience of a protagonist at the center of events, our 360 film generates the profound emotional intensity required to truly understand the environmental catastrophe unfolding in Ukraine.

This powerful film was first presented to the international community at the climate conference COP29 under the UN’s auspices, in partnership with the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine.
