Raindance Immersive Marks a Decade of Immersive Art and Innovation

Are you ready to emerge from the shadows and discover a realm where art transcends boundaries, illuminating the very depths of the human experience? For its landmark 10th edition, the Raindance Immersive Festival team invite you to Step Into The Light.

More than a festival, this is an invitation to a transformative journey. Groundbreaking immersive artworks await, ready to ignite your senses and illuminate your soul – from impactful narratives and films to innovative games, handcrafted art worlds, and the vibrant energy of live performances, electrifying music shows, spoken word artistry, and even insightful spiritual sessions with meditation guides, crystal healers, and tarot card readers.

This year's core theme, "Through Art We Heal," underscores the profound power of creative expression to navigate darkness, foster understanding, and cultivate hope. In a world often facing uncertainty, art offers a healing frequency, serving as our beacon, guiding us towards light, connection, unity, empathy, love, expansion, and ultimately, healing.

Our programme features 32 groundbreaking projects, including World Premieres and first-look previews, with 27 showcased on social VR platforms like VRChat, Resonite, and Orion Drift, where the creative possibilities truly shine, influencing the landscape of play and artistic expression. The nominated immersive experiences compete for 8 awards: Best Narrative for Impact, Best Game, Best Art World, Best Art Experience, Best Music Show, Best Live Performance, Best Immersive Theatre and Best Short Film of VR.

This year's Raindance Immersive Showcase (free for festival pass holders) will run in London from June 19th to 22nd at Vue Piccadilly, including the annual Raindance Immersive Summit on 20th June. The virtual festival will run from June 6th to 29th within VRChat, with additional events in Resonite and Orion Drift. Reservations for virtual events will open on 2nd June.

これは単なるフェスティバルではありません。Raindance Immersiveは変容の旅への招待状なのです。革新的な没入型アート作品があなたを待っています。感動的な物語や映画、革新的なゲーム、手作りのアートワールドからエネルギッシュなライブパフォーマンス、ダイナミックな音楽ショー、スポークンワード（朗読）アートまで。さらに瞑想ガイドやクリスタルヒーラー、タロットカードリーダーによるスピリチュアルなセッションもあなたの魂を照らし出します。

今年のコア・テーマ "Through Art We Heal (アートを通じて私たちは癒される)" は、創造表現が持つ強い力──闇を乗り越え、理解を深め、希望を培う力──を表しています。不確かなことの多いこの時代において、芸術は癒しの波動となり、私たちを光、繋がり、調和、共感、愛、拡がり、そして最終的には癒しへと導く灯台のような存在になってくれるのです。

今年のプログラムでは、ワールドプレミアや初公開作品を含む32の革新的なプロジェクトを紹介しています。そのうち27作品はVRChat、Resonite、Orion DriftといったソーシャルVRプラットフォームで実施され、創造の可能性が輝きを放ち、演劇や芸術表現のあり方に大きな影響を与えるものとなっています。

今年のRaindance Immersive Showcaseは、ロンドンのVue Piccadillyで、6月19日から22日まで開催され、6月20日にはRaindance Immersive Summitも実施されます（フェスティバルパス保有者は入場無料）。バーチャル フェスティバルは6月6日から29日までVRChat内で行われ、ResoniteやOrion Driftでも追加イベントが実施される予定です。バーチャルイベントの予約受付は6月2日より開始となります。
