Five Teams, One Theme: Ecstatic Raindance

Inspired by ancestral rainmaking rituals from across the globe, this meditative fusion of dance and music weaves contemporary electronic soundscapes with the raw pulse of live djembe, song and sacred Buddhist chants.

Set within an environment that evokes the crisp scent of falling rain, participants are guided through a journey of rippling water, rhythm, and breath. Here, individual movement slowly dissolves into a communal prayer. By blurring the boundaries between performance, ceremony, and meditation, we invite you into a shared resonance with nature.

Maru and crew are one of five teams bringing the "Ecstatic Raindance" theme to life, offering a creative take on the global Ecstatic Dance movement adapted for virtual spaces of VRChat. From the moment you enter, leave judgment at the door and surrender to the flow. Allow yourself to truly connect with your emotions, sensations, body and spirit—and lose yourself in the music and dance!
