Knight of the Wailing Stars
Knight of the Wailing Stars is a first-of-its-kind musical experience, allowing the audience to listen, watch, and live an audiovisual journey through all types of devices and across all media formats: radio, online, TV, cinema, AR, MR, 360 and 6DoF VR. Raindance Immersive 2021 will present the first two episodes of the interactive album.
In 2099, the Đoorstep portals, which allow instantaneous interstellar travel, are hacked by the Rebel Planets' leader; space warrior m1n0t0r is appointed with a secret mission to reopen the gates of the universe. Become m1n0t0r, Knight of the Wailing Stars, and accompany him on his first adventure! Explore the planet TOI 700, find the Đoorstep portal, and repair the first intergalactic gate. And if you’re lucky, you'll be rewarded with a live dance performance, executed in real-time for Raindance.
Knight Of The Wailing Stars is an immersive musical escape ride, a new kind of social experience combining music, game mechanics and a theme park ride in social VR. Based on the original idea by Louis Cacciuttolo, designed by artist S1NTDNS with the music of electronic musician m1n0t0r, the VR opus is produced by VRrOOm.
HOW TO ACCESS THE WORLD IN VRCHAT
This is a multi-player virtual game world in VRChat. You will need a VR ready PC and a compatible headset such as HTC Vive/Pro/Pro 2, Oculus Rift/Rift S/Quest + link, Valve Index or a Windows Mixed Reality headset. HOW TO BOOK A LIVE PERFORMANCE IN VRCHAT
The live musical and dance performance requires a ticket. There will be three performances during Raindance, taking place on 12th, 13th and 19th November at 3pm GMT. You can book your ticket here. Once you’ve booked your ticket, the creators will send you an email with access instructions. You can join their Discord channel for assistance.

ABOUT THE CREATORS
Denis Semionov (aka S1NTDNS) is an XR artist and director who works at the forefront of new technologies in art (VR/AR cinematic experiences and art projects), XR scenography and illustration. “Knight of the Wailing Stars” — is his first collaboration with m1n0t0R, an electronic musician, DJ, and a virtual character influenced by early electronic music of the 70s and the 80s, experimenting different musical formats.
m1n0t0r is an electronic music composer and space warrior. Today, in 2098, his mission is to find and activate the mixed reality Đoorstep portals, one exoplanet at a time, and allow entire populations to travel across interstellar distances! Dance and sweat to the beat as each of his tracks that take you to new worlds. Born out of virtual reality and fairy tales, he believes in the power of collective hallucinations induced by sound waves, and in the healing power of music.
