The lights dim. A burst of synchronised choreography ignites the room as the Luxe Nova team takes the stage.

Step behind the scenes with the powerhouse collective redefining live virtual entertainment. This session pulls back the curtain on how a dedicated team of 150 performers collaborates across the world to produce one-of-a-kind live experiences, blurring the boundaries between dance, immersive theatre, and electrifying cabaret.

Join Raindance Immersive Curator, Fangs, in conversation with Trudeus and the core Luxe Nova team to explore their creative and production approach: from conceptualising bold narratives and bespoke stage design to the mastery of choreography, custom avatar artistry, and world-building. Learn what it takes to create and sustain high-glamour, live performances in social VR.

Trudeus is the Head Manager of Luxe Nova's Observa Theatre, one of the organisation's five groups. He stepped into online community leadership in 2012 and has since served in leadership roles across several different gaming communities. He and his team have received two Raindance Immersive nominations—one in 2023 for New Eden's Darkwood Manor, and another in 2025 for Observa Presents: Luxian Lunacy! A performer himself, he is active both in leading the Observa team, performing on stage, and organising larger, Luxe Nova-wide activities and timelines.

Mary Lee Desmond (aka FangsVR) is a filmmaker, music producer, and Curator at Raindance Immersive whose work centres on VR‑native cinema and virtual performances. They have worked in film and music studios since 2007 and serve as an AV Video Lead outside their VR practice, bringing deep experience in live performance and multimedia production to their immersive work.

In VRChat, they direct and produce real‑time films and performances, including SCOUT, winner of the Official VRChat Space Jam 2026 film competition, and compose original scores for immersive projects such as A Key to Cadence, a winner of the Official VRChat Film Jam 2025. Their background in film production, music, and live event operations informs a hybrid creative‑technical approach to Raindance’s programming, where they champion independent creators and the evolving language of immersive film and live performance.
