SEIKUKEN

SEIKUKEN is inspired by recent discoveries in the Stanford VR lab proving “Zoom Fatigue” is caused by a failure of technology to accurately recreate non-verbal communication. This work uses expert low poly design to explore how WebXR can restore non verbal communication, and includes 3D musical collaboration and abstracted ritual to induce a synesthetic state of physiological calm while sharing 3D virtual space. This XR immersive artwork strives to lay the groundwork for a more ethical, empathic version of the 3D internet, that transcends the polarization of our current dysfunctional social media landscape.
