THE DALADALA VERSE

The Daladala Verse is an immersive documentary short that transports you to the vibrant, fast-paced streets of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania. We follow Fatuma, the only female conductor on the Mawasiliano–Masaki route, as she navigates a fiercely male-dominated industry.

Through her journey, the experience reveals the resilience and energy of women redefining urban mobility, challenging the status quo, and pointing toward a more sustainable, green future for public transport.
